SACRAMENTO, CA -- Innovative Imaging, a company that makes ophthalmic industry ultrasound imaging systems, has been acquired by Ellex Medical Lasers Limited, a publicly-traded Australian firm. According to Ellex, Innovative's systems are considered the very best in the industry and more than 1,300 systems are in use worldwide. The Adelaide, Australia-based company made a $1 million initial payment and will make three subsequent annual payments based on performance of the business.
